COMPLETE TRADITIONAL SERVICES AND FACILITY PLANS

For your convenience we offer two traditional plans of services and facilities.

1. For a traditional funeral with religious services in your church. This plan includes all the usual items for a complete funeral, which are: services of the funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to the funeral home within a 20 mile radius, embalming, other preparation of the deceased, use of facilities and staff for a two day visitation, funeral ceremony or services in another facility, a funeral coach (hearse), a lead car, a committal service, a visitor’s register book, printed prayer cards, acknowledgement cards and a cross or crucifix for inside the casket. Attention to all details including filing of forms with government offices, preparation of newspaper notices and handling floral tributes.

2. For a traditional funeral with cremation as the form of disposition and a religious service with casket present in church. This includes all items in package #1 above, plus a rental casket, transfer to/from the crematory and the cremation fee.

   Please note: As an alternative to the rental casket, you may purchase a casket. If the casket you select is metal, an additional cremation fee may be added to the total package price.

For Package One or Two, please note: Families that choose to have a traditional funeral service that does not require a hearse ($230), lead car ($125) and use of staff and equipment for church, home services or services at another facility ($350).

*The cremation cannot take place until a death certificate is secured and filed, a cremation permit is issued, coroner’s permission received and twenty-four (24) hours have elapsed.

Includes local transfer and preparation of the deceased for identification purposes only (no embalming), basic services of funeral directors and staff, securing all necessary signatures, basic use of facilities and transportation to Jefferson Memorial Cemetery.
Not included: transportation to another local cemetery, visitation, funeral ceremony or memorial service, cash advances or any merchandise you may desire.

Pennsylvania rules and regulations number 13.211A requires that any human remains held 24 hours beyond death be embalmed or sealed in a hermetically sealed container that will not allow fumes or odors to escape or shall be kept under refrigeration provided, however, that this does not conflict with any religious beliefs or medical examinations.
